We are currently based in the most gorgeous, historical cottage… tucked away in the hills… about 25 kilometres out of Klaarstroom. So much love has been poured into the restoration of this cottage… every tiny detail took my breath away And I also love Prince Albert… a town 30 kilometres away (in the opposite direction of Klaarstroom). A wonderful way to start the day in Africa
When Heleen and Karel bought their farm this was the favourite artists’ ruin to capture on canvas, and locals were quite concerned that it would be modernised and lose its personality, so H&K had many compliments on the sensitive way they restored it.
